Before you configure your Android Device with our Mobile Email server, you will need to confirm that your Device Supports “Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync”. Some devices such as the T-Mobile G1 do not include this feature, but HTC branded devices like the HTC Dream, HTC Magic or HTC Hero may support it.
- From Your Android Device, open theEmail application. If you already have an email account configured, click on the MENU button, then chooseAccounts, then click on the MENUbutton again, and then Add Account, then enter your email address and password and click on Next.
- Select Exchange Active Sync.
- Enter the domain caex, your Username, your Password, followed by the server address ex.myhosting.com. Enter your full email address in the username field, followed by your password, then clickNext.
- To enable the Direct Push feature for your device, select Automatic (Push) for your inbox check frequency and click on Next.
- Finally, set a name for your account and click on Done.
