CLEVER (Compact Low Emission VEhicle for uRban transport) is a kind of three-wheeled enclosed motorcycle under development in the U.K. Meant to solve the problems of urban congestion and pollution, at a width of three feet and a fuel consumption of 188 miles per gallon, it might just do that.
Now if they can only fix the usual problems associated with 3 wheels, it might just fly…problems such as: loss of front-wheel traction and lack of dynamic lateral stability when turning at speed.

Doesn’t Batman have a vehicle like this? His wheels are probably much bigger, though.
Something about three wheels just strikes me as wrong. Maybe I’m just not being openminded, though.
