The Geos is a hand-held multi-function meteorological station. It provide data on wind speed & direcion, temperature, wind-chill, barometric pressure, altitude and relative humidity as well as being a compass & clock. Good for checking conditions before going hang-gliding or boating.

The Geos Weather Station must have been great in the days before smartphone apps. I especially like how it would even give you the relative humidity!
I don’t even know what the relative humidity is — relative to what? (lol) But you’re right, for weather hobbyists, I think the Geos Weather Station, or something like it, would still make for a great gift.
