Discussed for years, if it is ever built, the Freedom Ship will be the largest ocean-going vessel ever built. The current specs call for a length of 4,500 feet, a width of 750 feet, and a height of 350 feet. This ship would be about 4 times longer than the Queen Mary 2, currently the longest passenger ship.
Costing about $9 billion to build, its 18,000 living units, would range in price from $180,000 to $2.5 million. Some premium suites would go for $44 million.
Approximately 100,000 people would be on board at any given time, including about 40,000 full time residents.

The ship would circle the world every 3 years, stopping at most major ports of call.

Uh-oh. I just hope they have someone on the Freedom Ship in charge of looking out for icebergs.
Is there that much of a demand for travel by ship these days?
