Gottlieb Daimler co-founder of Daimler-Benz AG was building motorised bicycles in 1885. Now they have come full circle with the introduction of the new Mercedes-Benz 27-speed Sport Edition and Comfort Edition bikes.
The Sport Edition Mountainbike, shown above has an aluminium frame, hydraulic disc brakes and an adjustable front suspension fork. Priced at $3,100-4,000 depending on the model, with optional extras.

I have been in search of Mercedes bicycles. I am interested in all models for exercise<br />
mountain and sport. While in europe recently I found the bikes in Mercedes stores only<br />
and can not find a USA distributor. The USA local police force in New York City and Austin,<br />
Texas have both recieved Mercedes bikes as donations.<br />
Who is distributing the bikes in the USA. I am very interested in purchasing one for<br />
exercise. Please advise. Thank you….
I would also be interested in Cadillac scooters, and perhaps Lamborgini red wagons.
