The Mainichi Daily News in Japan is reporting that a number of people have been arrested for staging about 100 robberies of hospitals in and around Akita in northern Japan.
What’s innovative is that the robbers, not being familiar with the area, used their car’s GPS system to locate target hospitals in the vicinity, and then to program the fastest routes away from the crime scene.
