Sony Vaio Type U

Sony has announced the world’s smallest most light weight Windows PC.

$1,900USD will get you the U70P model. At 6.5in x 4.3in and 1.2lb it runs Microsoft Windows XP Professional. The specs are:
- ultralow voltage edition Intel Pentium M processor 1 GHz
- 512MB
- 20GB HDD
- 800×600 5in touch screen input or with a folding keyboard
- LAN 802.11b/g

$1,600 buys the U50 model running XP Home edition at 256MB.

You can’t make a PC light enough–that’s my belief, anyway.

Before laptops and smartphones, you practically had to design an entire room around a computer. I wish small PC’s like this had been available sooner!
