This digital video recorder is still under development by Sony, but will have 7 TV tuners and more than 1 TB of disk space for simultaneous recording of about one week’s worth of 7 TV channels.
The unit is positioned as a “PC based next generation AV recorder”. The “X” is expected to be released later this year, and will be demoed at the “Do VAIO World 2004” event May 14-16.
