According to statistics at The International Shark Attack File, Florida has the most shark attacks in the world.
Statistically-speaking, the worst thing that you can do is to go surfing off Volusia county (centered on Daytona Beach) in the month of September between 2-3pm.
Actually, the chances of being attacked are very low. But being the risk-averse person that I am, before my next trip to FL, I plan to contact Shark Defense Inc, and get some A-2, a newly developed shark repellent that is apparently quite effective.

Well well i lived and was born in Daytona beach for quite a few years, and have many frequent visits there. But the next time i go I’ll be sure to take extra precautions
