by GadgetManiac on August 25, 2004

Honda Scooter In a good move for those with zero-emission laws, Honda has just announced a fuel-cell-powered scooter based on its Fuel Cell Stack technology.

The motive power comes from an AC synchronous electric motor rated at 272 Nm of torque. The energy comes from a proton exchange fuel cell based on compressed hydrogen. No word yet on speed or range.

I like the idea of traveling by scooter. It’s more comfortable to me than a bike would be.
