The Face of Tomorrow

Mike Mike is a portrait photographer based in Istanbul. His interesting website is called The Face of Tomorrow . Mike goes to a particular location in a city and photographs 100 people that he meets there. He then blends those images together into a composite male and a composite female face. The result is a fascinating blended average face that you can never expect to see at that location, and yet should look oddly familiar.

Here is what a composite male looked like at the Eminonu Market in Istanbul in August of last year. Istanbul Male Composite - Eminonu

At Copacabana Beach in February of this year, the average male and female looked like this:

Now I want to take a trip to Copacabana Beach! (Because I appreciate the aesthetic qualities of the human faces there.)
