Hands-Free GPS

The ActiveBelt is a GPS-based wearable belt with 8 motors that vibrate in the direction that you should walk in order to get to the destination that you selected earlier.

The user first enters the GPS coordinates of the destination. The ActiveBelt activates the vibrator closest to the direction in which to walk.

The distance to the destination is expressed using pulse intervals of vibration; as the wearer gets closer, the pulse intervals become shorter.

I think wearing this product would drive me nuts, but I can imagine it would be useful for a lot of people.
