New Sony Clié PDA

September 14th, 2004

By GadgetManiac

Sony PE-VZ90Sony has stopped selling PDAs on this side of the ocean, so its unlikely that you will ever see this nice new Clié PEG-VZ90 multimedia handheld. The device has Wi-Fi and a 3.8in 480 x 320 Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) screen.

The VZ90 supports MPEG4, MPEG1, ATRAC3 and MP3 audio/video formats. The device uses Palm OS 5.2.1 and offers the usual Sony Clié organiser PIM management tools. In some ways it seems more like a personal media player than a PDA.

The OLED screen on the VZ90 is outstanding. The product announcement, together with additional images can be found here.
