Nikon just announced the D2X, which is a 12.4 Megapixel SLR camera costing about $5000 and intended for professional photographers.

The model provides a number of improvements over previous models, and also has a wireless transmitter that allows photographers to not only transmit images over a Wi-Fi network, but also allow wireless remote control of the D2X over a Wi-Fi network from a computer.

Anything worth doing is worth doing too soon. Real obstacles don’t take you in circles. They can be overcome. Invented ones are like a maze.

Hi, even though my main camera is a D3 I still like to use my D2X. The problem is that the D2X is not a full frame camera. It is a good job that I only brought the one lens which is not much use with the full size sensor on the D3. Anyway glad that Nikon still supports the DX format, but I will only ever but FX lenses from now on.

I have been using my D2X for a number of years. It is still an excellent camera but now I have the D3. The D2X is still such a lovely thing it is like an old friend. I even look for work I can do on the D2X so it will not be left out.
