The first multimedia player based on the Microsoft Portable Media Center Operating System went on sale today. The Zen Portable Media Center by Creative has a 3.8in display at 320×240; it can store 85 hours of video or 9,000 songs.
Next up, on Oct 3, will be the iRiver PMC-100 also with a 20GB HDD, and with a 3.5in display.

How did we ever live in a primitive world where we could only store up to 9000 songs?
I don’t think I could leave my house if i only had 9000 songs to choose from! oh, the horror!
