The Big Three

The latest auto sales figures in the U.S. show that Toyota has beat out the Chrysler Group for the second month in a row. Sales figures from Autodata Corp. show that Toyota sold 180,394 units, for a 12.6 percent US market share, to Chrysler’s 178,034 units or 12.5 percent share.

With Ford’s customer sat numbers down 5% from last year (see below), the Big Three might soon become the Big One. University of Michigan’s American Customer Satisfaction Index

I think that today, by contrast, Detroit is having the first moment of real hope they’ve had in a long time.

Yeah, I think the Big Three will remain intact for a long time to come.
