Keio University in Japan has developed a prototype 8-wheel electric car, the EliicaThe specs state that the car can get from zero to 60 mph in 4 seconds, thus making it faster than a Porsche 911 Turbo.

I think an 8-wheel electric car would have a lot to prove in terms of winning popular support, but I hope it catches on someday.
I’d love to be able to just plug my car into a socket in my garage overnight and then burn rubber in the morning.
