Sony’s new MDR-SA5000 headphones promise to deliver SACD-quality sound.
The specs for the SA5000 are good, but don’t quite match the Qualia 010 reviewed here previously. But then again, it’s only about &8531; of the price of the 010.

I assume SACD-quality sound is no longer the highest level of performance nowadays, but what’s taken its place?
My ears are insensitive enough that the MDR-SA5000 would’ve sounded the same to me as the Qualia.
