The Apple iPod shuffle was announced today at Macworld in San Francisco.
The iPod shuffle is Apple’s first flash-based MP3 player. The 1GB version can hold 240 songs and will sell for $149. Size is 3&8531; x 1 x &8531; inches, a battery life of 12hrs and it weighs 0.78 ounces. In that other measurement system, its 84 x 25 x 8.4 millimeters, and 22 grams.
No screen. Plays randomly or in order.
