We had a chance to see the X50v in action today. Its a very nice machine, it has a good feel to it and best of all, it has a full-VGA screen.

Compared to the HP iPAQ hx4700, the X50v is smaller and lighter, although the 4700 has a somewhat better screen. Some pluses for the X50v are that it comes with Windows Media Player 10 and that it only costs three-quarters as much as the similarly-spec’d 4700.

I had to look up “VGA” (video game array”)–it’s been a long time since I’d seen those initials!
