The new Philips 190P6 19 inch LCD monitor has something new- an outstanding 8 millisecond pixel response time. This seems to be a new low for 19 inch LCDs. 
According to the press release:
The 190P6 also provides gamers, AV entertainment users and DVD hobbyists with a dynamic multimedia experience. Most of todays popular action games demand the highest possible speed and fast response. The 190P6 rules out distracting image ghosting or blurring, which means even more enjoyment and better scores for gamers.
While the 190P6 operates at a resolution of 1280×1024, the press release does not provide any info on brightness or contrast.
