The Yamaha YSP-1 Digital Sound Projector won G4TechTV’s Best of CES: Best of Show award at CES 2005.
Emulates 5.1 surround sound via a single-panel phased-array 42-speaker system. I.e. it bounces cleverly-steered sound beams off your walls. The good: it clears your room of all those speakers. The not-so-good: these types of systems with their small-ish speakers are not that good at emulating subwoofers.
