MobileMag has a nice piece on the PDD Helix mobile phone, which is still in the concept phase. The pictures look cool and the specs are quite good.
According to the article, Helix is expected to have 20GB storage for MP3s and photos, an OLED display and a 5.0-megapixel camera. PDD is hoping to display the Helix at the upcoming 3GSM World Congress.

These are the same folks who gave us the SNIF fragrance delivery system, as well as the Plan-b, which is/was a Wi-Fi and GPS enabled travel gadget that stores and monitors all travel itinerary detail in a ‘live’ format; allowing the user to update and reconfigure on the go, whether by train, road or plane. PDD’s Plan-b (shown above) was unleashed a year ago, at the previous 3GSM World Congress, and has not been seen or heard from since.
My guess: the PDD Helix will not see the light of day.
