Sonos Music Streamer

by GadgetManiac on February 24, 2005

Today’s Wall Street Journal has a very complimentary review of the Sonos Digital Music System.

Sonos Controller

The Sonos system wirelessly streams digital music (MP3, AAC, AIFF, WAV files) to units called ZonePlayers, which are in turn connected to your speakers. The remote control, shown above, manages the music playback.

The article describes the Sonos as “easily the best music-streaming product I have seen and tested. Its the Lexus of the category”.

The Sonos music player sounds very appealing. Are they still widely available?

Yes, I think the fifth or so version recently came out.
