CeBIT 2005 starts in a few days and runs from March 10-16 in Hannover, Germany. CeBIT positions itself as the ‘world’s leading event for information technology, telecommunications, software and services’.
One of the exhibitors at CeBIT 2005 will be Fujitsu Siemens Computers, whose motto for the show will be “Structuring your growth”.
A Fujitsu sub-theme is “Pragmatic Mobility”, under whose rubric a number of new and re-cycled products are grouped, viz :
- CELSIUS H230 workstation
- LIFEBOOK E8020 (circa January)
- AMILO Pro V8010 new fully-equipped notebook
- Tablet PC Stylistic ST5022 – heavy for a tablet at 3 and-a-half pounds
- Pocket LOOX 720 (this intro’d in September)

CeBIT does sound like a great event. Still, I’m sure that now there’s lots of competition for the title of “the world’s leading event for information technology, telecommunications, software and services.”
“Pragmatic mobility” is certainly important, but I don’t know how catchy a sub-heading it is.
