Samsung SCH-V770 – 7 Megapixel CameraPhone

Samsung SCH-V770 at CeBIT 2005 Samsung unveiled their new model SCH-V770 seven-megapixel camera phone at CeBIT 2005 today. Looking more like a camera than a phone, the SCH-V770 is the first cameraphone at this resolution. Works on CDMA networks. Samsung has made a real effort to have the SCH-770 acceptable to semi-serious photographers. The unit has a 3X optical zoom lens and a normal flash. It accepts clip-on lenses for wide-angle or tele-photo. It also supports shutter or aperture priority, manual focus and shooting modes, as well as user-controlled focal length and shutter speed. – CDMA phone – has an MP3 player – 1/1.8 inch type CCD image sensor – 16 million color QVGA 2inch LCD screen – 32MB internal memory – MMC card slot – Business card scanner Product announcement. Yes, and Samsung has been at the forefront of the digital camera evolution. (Actually, it’s more like a revolution.)
