DoCoMo presents some ideas of what life will be like in the year 2010 in a video entiitled “Visions of 2010″. They’re a phone company, so instant communication looms large in the video, as does immediate access to massive computing resources. 
The video follows 5 cheerful Japanese in the year 201x as they conduct their lives in a virtualized integrated harmonized e-biz’ed environment while wearing their wrist communicators. Vision 2010.

Too bad those wrist communicators never materialized. Maybe in 2020.
They sound a little too Dick Tracy-ish to ever come true, I think.
I think DoCoMo made 2010 sound a little more exciting than it actually was.
