X-bit Labs has an article comparing 2 office notes : Sony VAIO VGN-FS115ZR and HP Compaq nx8220. So what is their conclusion after 13 pages of charts & graphs and detailed feature-by-feature comparisons? … these two notebooks seem to be fairly equally matched. Their bottom line recommendation is that if design, aesthetics and ergonomics are important, go for the Sony. On the other hand, if graphics performance is paramount, then choose the Compaq with its ATI Mobility Radeon X600 board.

13 pages of charts and graphs?? Well, at least you can’t accuse them of not being thorough.
Graphics are definitely paramount to me. I couldn’t care less about a device’s design so long as the graphics are stellar.
