The new Mega-Contrast Advanced Super View (ASV) Premium LCD monitor from Sharp has an unprecedented one million to one contrast ratio. With most contrast ratios trundling along in the range of hundreds or thousands-to-one, one might expect that Sharp’s claims for this new technology are either inflated or represent some kind of tech breakthrough.
