Sony DSC-N1

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N1 The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N1 is a new 8.1 megapixel digital camera, with something unusual in this genre – a touch screen. That innovation frees up a lot of real estate on the backside, and allows for a massive (relatively-speaking, of course) 3 inch screen. The N1 comes with the usual 3x optical zoom, but has 26MB of internal memory and takes the Memory Stick Duo media card. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N1 - Sony press release, Oct. 3, 2005

Why did it take so long for cameras to get touchscreens? It seems really logical.

i wish cameras had more uniform touchscreens. every time someone asks you to take a picture, it takes 5 mins to figure out how to use it!
