Windows Mobile Treo 700w

Windows Mobile Treo Palm and Microsoft and Verizon finally announced the Windows Mobile Treo 700w last week. The new 700w is basically a Windows Mobile 5.0 powered smartphone, built into a familiar Palm Treo platform. According to ComputerWorld, and others, a consequence of Palm’s shift away from the Palm Operating System (now owned by Japan’s Acccess Co.) is the likely demise of that OS.
