Motorola launched it’s new ROKR E2 music phone in advance of CES 2006 yesterday. This Rokr has ditched E1′s iTunes in favor of Moto’s new iRadio service. iRadio is a music subscription service just announced by Motorola that will deliver 435 radio channels via the cellular networks of wireless service providers … some competition for iTunes.
The E2 supports up to 2 GB (500 songs) of music via an SD card slot … as compared to the maximum of 100 songs of the E1.
Other features of the Rokr E2 include a 1.3 MP camera, video capture, an FM radio and a 3.5mm headset jack.
