Petroglyph has a new real-time 8-player 730MB game due out Feb 16: Star Wars: Empire at War. Nice looking graphics – no word yet on playability.

When during the original trilogy does this game take place? Between the first and second movies?
It’s fun to see those giant four-legged vehicles from The Empire Strikes Back Again. Those things never looked that practical, though.
The Empire Strikes Back was definitely the best Star Wars movie. I wish I’d gotten my hands on this game.
