Much Higher Than High Definition TV

Chi Mei V562D1 Quad HDTVWe made note of Chi Mei Optoelectronics and their remarkable quadruple-HDTV LCD TV panel back in January. Well, they’re back with their 3840×2160 resolution model V562D1 TV at CeBIT 2006 and Trusted Reviews has a brief review and some images.

The TR article abounds in accolades and laments the lack of 4x HDTV content for viewing.

How much sharper can they make HDTV? Pretty soon you’ll be able to see bacteria crawling on people’s faces!
