Well, the long-awaited, slimmed-down and easier-to-use tablet PC’s, aka Origami devices, were finally released this past week at CeBIT 2006. These new devices have even been assigned the new designation Ultra Mobile PC, to distinguish them from their bulkier and heavier cousins the tablet computers. Samsung’s version of the UMPC is called the Samsung Sens Q1.
The Sens Q1 weighs in at 1.72 lbs (779 grams) and measures 9 x 5.5 x 1 inches (227 x 139 x 26.5 mm). The 40GB hard drive and the 7 in 800×480 LCD touchscreen and the 2 radios (802.11b/g and Bluetooth) drive a battery life of 3.5 hours.
Works on Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 OS.

Now tablets are ultra mobile, and ultra mobile computers are well, nowhere to be found.
In that photo, the Q1 UMPC tablet looks kind of like a giant Game Boy.
