In a spot of good news for those who are in harm’s way, Pretec announces it’s new i-Disk BulletProof USB flash drive, which is not only bulletproof, but also waterproof and fireproof. Capacities are up to 2 gigabytes, and a souped-up version can achieve data transfer speeds of up to 40MB/s, which the company says is the world’s fastest.
A facile joke would resemble the following: …Just a thought, but if your avocation requires use of flash memory which is bulletproof, then you might want to consider a career change.

what the hell is the point of a fire and bullet proof flash drive!!!???
Most USB drives will lose all data if you just drop it from your desk. This drive protects all your important data even in most extreme conditions. Includes being shot at. This is what will be in movies in the future…the hero gets saved from his USB drive instead of some piece of metal.
Maybe the point of this is to protect your flash drive if you get so angry at your computer you feel compelled to shoot it.
