We were impressed by the Chi Mei Optoelectronics 3840×2160 super high resolution TV back in Jan ‘06, but this new model from Sharp has it beat. This LCD panel weighs in at a res of 4096×2160 for a total of 8.84M on-screen pixels – a 1st for LCDs.
Better than nice, but good luck in finding any playable content that takes advantage of the great resolution.
