Olympus u760 7.1 megapixel all-weather camera

Trusted Reviews gathers together some common sense and good advice on the subject of what to look for when buying a general-purpose digital camera. They opine on megapixels (get 7-8 MP), lenses, batteries (they like AA), memory cards (choose quality over $) and zoom (get optical, forget digital zoom). Standard stuff, but a good reminder.

yeah, Trusted Reviews is an intelligent + trustworthy site; I like the stuff they’ve published in the past a lot.

I always like reviews that stick to the point and provide basic common sense. Many people are meat and potatoes in their approach to digital cameras, after all.
