Tom’s Hardware had a look at 4 new-ish mice from Microsoft:
They weren’t too thrilled with the 1000 dpi Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, giving it 3.5 stars out of 5. The supposedly ergonomic mouse was deemed to be a bit ergonomically-challenged.
Next, Tom felt that the Habu at 2000 dpi was one of the best gaming mouse around, giving it 4 stars.
And despite some quirks, such as the detentless scroll wheel, the Wireless Laser Mouse 8000, at 1000 dpi was found to be a worthy desktop flagship offering, and got 4 stars. They liked the 8000′s ergonomics, reactivity, fluidity and accuracy.
Finally, they seemed smitten by the Wireless Notebook Presenter Laser Mouse 8000. While it also only got 4 stars it was deemed to be irretrievably cute, seductive and convenient…words not normally associated with a rodent review. The WNPLM8000 goes for about $90.

Fascinating reviews. I’ve never thought of any computer mice as being seductive before, but maybe I’ve just been looking at them the wrong way.
