Google Phone

Speculation continues about a possible cell phone from Google…

The Washington Post offers up a number of reasons why Google would not want to jump into the hardware arena, chief among them the competitiveness of the mobile phone market and the risks. They conclude that there’s probably no fire, and only some smoke in the form of Google Apps tailored for mobile phones.

Playfuls.com offers up some similar reasons for believing that the supposed Google Phone (Switch?) may not be real. They add, however, that the mobile Internet is too lucrative for Google to ignore.

Well it wasn’t a rumor and it is far better than I thought it would be. What do you all think? It loads a website plenty fast for me. I like the navigation fine. No problems with mine at all.

There was no way Google could have ignored the mobile market. They would have lost out big time had they done so.
