Don’t know how we could have missed it, but that new ragtop Rolls, the Phantom Drophead Coupe was unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show way back in January of this year. Here’s a pic of one being assembled in Goodwood for summer ’07 availability.

Update on March 8 2007: In a spot of bad news, Bob Austin of Rolls Royce indicates that production of the Phantom Drophead convertible has been sold out for almost two years in advance.

There is also a hardtop coupe version of the Phantom in the works. Its prototype is the 101EX,
