TecnoVISION Luxio 205 inch TV

TecnoVISION S.p.A of Italy has on display at CeBIT2007 an LED display measuring 205 inches diagonally, to which they have attached the label “The World’s Largest TV – 205″ “. TecnoVISION seems to be a manufacturer of outdoor signage geared towards sporting events, trade shows, traffic and the like, so they seem to have brought one of their outdoor LED displays indoors, slapped the “Luxio” label on it and referred to it as the world’s biggest TV.

Some details about the TecnoVISION Luxio 205 inch LED-TV, as they’re calling it, include a screen size of 179×101 inches (16:9 aspect), resolution of 1342×756 pixels, very bright at 1500 Nit, high contrast ratio of 10000:1, as well as 16-bit color processing.

While large it may be, a TV it necessarily ain’t…what’s to stop these folks (aside from price) from hauling 1 of their Jumbotrons into your living room, and calling it a TV?

Hi there, I accidently come across this site while hunting on online as I am researching some material on LCD TVs!. It is an interesting blog so I’ve bookmarked your site and I will come back another day to enjoy a more detailed look when I can give it more time.

I think my husband would actually love it if someone hauled a Jumbotron into our living room and called it a TV.
