A new poll of sci-fi movie buffs reveals yet another list of top 10 best science fiction movies…
1. Serenity (2005)
2. Star Wars (1977)
3. Blade Runner (1982)
4. Planet of the Apes (1968)
5. The Matrix (1999)
6. Alien (1979)
7. Forbidden Planet (1956)
8. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
9. The Terminator (1984)
10. Back to the Future (1985)
…only a 60% overlap with our previous list back in 2004 – but then Serenity hadn’t yet been made.
Summer will return as a Terminatrix in the forthcoming The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Newer movies often have advantages in lists like this. I’m sure The Matrix topped many such lists back in ’99/00.
