In a new service announcement, Google describes their ne
w free in-home wireless broadband service, called Google TiSP.
Simply flush one end of the fiber optic cable down the toilet, and specially trained Google engineers will (eventually) retrieve it and connect it to their global data networking system.
…GadgetManiac engineers have reviewed the Google TiSP product, and suspect a hoax, perhaps even a jockular attempt…some bathroom humor from Google.
Welcome to Google TiSP – Product announcement, April 1st 2007

Google offering wireless broadband service isn’t too surprising. I expected Google to make a move in ISP filed for a while, especially dedicated Internet access lines. Their recent acquisitions of dark fiber and Internet hosting start-ups is indication to that. This April fool joke might be just a hint of Google’s more realistic plans for the near future!
