SED TV Delayed Yet Again

by GadgetManiac on May 26, 2007

sed-tv-c.jpgThe Japan Times is reporting that Canon and Toshiba have yet again delayed the launch of their Surface-conduction Electron-emitter Display TVs – this time from 4th-quarter 2007 all the way over to ‘undetermined’.

We’ve been following SED developments since January 2005 and are beginning to believe that we’re never going to get our grubby hands on 1. It’s looking more like the future belongs to LCD and OLED. Of course, we here at GadgetManiac are holding out for DTOL (Direct To Occipital Lobe) TV … lol.

Direct To Occipital Lobe TV is a great idea, and a real possibility. It would be especially good if you could watch TV at work without anyone knowing.
