Edmunds has released their 2008 Edmunds’ Inside Line Editors’ Most Wanted Awards. The 2008 Audi R8 won in the category Instant Classic.
The editors liked the 420-hp V8 engine, the space-frame, the aerodynamics, the bi-xenon headlights, the use of normal ie non-Lambo, doors and the comfortable ride.

I’m a big fan of normal doors myself, so for that reason alone I’m glad this car’s a new classic.
As for me, I’m all about the comfortable ride. That’s way more important to me than how a car looks.
