LCD vs. Plasma, again

The CTO of LG Electronics Dr. Woo Paik was in town visting CES 2008 promoting some LG products on display. The New York Times caught up with him and posed the question: “LCD or Plasma? The good doctor was kind enough to answer unambiguously: his preference is for Plasma.

Why? …because Plasma TVs tend to have a greater viewing angle, and a faster pixel response time.

viewing angle is really important, especially for super bowl parties and times when you have the extended family gathered to watch a movie.
