The Wallpaper Design Awards for 2008 were announced a few days ago. The striking Ring House located in the town of Karuizawa, Japan won in the Best New Private House category.

That’s a striking building to look at. I wonder how functional it is, though (and how many bathrooms it has).
The name “Wallpaper Design Award” is very misleading, as it obviously sounds like it’s referring to wallpaper.
