Intel Tukwila potato chipThe forthcoming Tukwila chip from Intel will be their first such product to contain more than 2 billion transistors on a single chip.

The 2-Ghz 4-core 64-bit 65-nanometer Tukwila Itanium processor represents a (mid-sized) landmark confirmation of Moore’s Law.

…to which we say bleh. Why bother..just wait about 2 years, we can get you one with 4 billion transistors for about the same $.
