Milner Motors is developing the AirCar, which will be a flying car with a range of 1000 miles and a cruising speed of 200 mph. The thing can carry 4 passengers & will sell for $450,000. Pressurized with a ceiling altitude of 25,000 ft and roadable at 85 MPH.
…now if they could just figure out some way to combine the AirCar with the submersible Rinspeed sQuba then we’d have the best of all possible worlds in 1 craft ie flying, driving, boating and submarining.

I have been designing an unloaded rotor compound helicopter with the possibility of adapting the technology to an aircar.
I like your fixed wing design, the better the low speed landing aids (slots & flaps etc.) the more you will be reliant on the thrust available, I hope someone gets off their tail and develops a light weight compound rotary engine instead of talking about it so you have some power for your project.
Keep me up to date as you advance your project,

You see how many people drive on the freeway — I shudder to think of them flying around.
